Conscious, minimalist, and responsible fashion. It's no longer a trend, it's a need – and it's precisely in this space that lyocell emerges. Not as a novelty, but as a considered return to what is wise, durable, and close to nature.

Co to jest Lyocell i skąd się wziął?

What is Lyocell and where does it come from?

Lyocell was created in the late 1980s as a response to the need for a material that is both skin-friendly and environmentally friendly. It is made from wood cellulose (most often eucalyptus, beech, or birch) sourced from controlled, sustainable farms. The Lyocell production process is distinguished by low water consumption and a closed chemical cycle – over 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused.

This not only means less waste and less harm to the planet. It means material with a clear conscience.

What are the most important features of Lyocell?

On the one hand, it's as delicate as mist, and on the other, as durable as a carefully stitched thought. Here are the key characteristics of lyocell:

  • Soft and smooth : It's silky soft, but not sticky. It's a comfortable feeling that stays with you all day long.

  • Breathability : It allows air to pass through and regulates humidity, making it suitable for both summer and winter.

  • Hypoallergenic : Its natural origin and lack of irritating chemicals make it an ally even for very sensitive skin.

  • Durability : Unlike many other delicate fabrics, Lyocell is not afraid of washing or the passage of time.

It's a material that breathes, harmonizes, and endures. Like good relationships.

Why do we combine Lyocell with viscose?

In our Poly sets , we combine lyocell and viscose – and this is no accident. It's like a duet of mature temperaments: one brings velvety softness and an ecological advantage, the other – subtle elasticity and airiness.

Viscose, although also cellulose-based, adds a light, cool note and a delicate, matte sheen to the fabric. Combined with lyocell, it creates a nearly weightless feel on the skin while maintaining a structure that drapes well. This is a fabric that doesn't pull, crease, or impose. It works with you.

Poly Sets: Comfort with Class

When creating our Poly sets, we wanted to capture the idea of "clothing for life." One that doesn't compromise comfort and aesthetics. Lyocell with a touch of viscose creates a fabric that combines the coziness of pajamas with the lines of minimalist fashion.

You can start your day with a cup of coffee on the terrace and end it without embarrassment with a spontaneous evening stroll. And if you have a flight between, it also works perfectly as the perfect uniform for the airport and the plane. It doesn't restrict movement, looks elegant, and protects against the harshness of the air conditioning.

It's like the atmosphere of a well-designed interior: enveloping but not overwhelming. Discreetly luxurious.

Lyocell isn't the future. It's the present, and we want more of it. Combined with viscose, it becomes the perfect material for an era where the greatest luxury is conscious choice.
