August 2020, Warsaw. The capital was pulsing to the strange rhythm of a new reality—one where face masks covered half our faces but couldn’t hide our determination. That’s when we finally shot the first campaign for our debut clothing collection. A collection that was supposed to launch in April, but reality had other plans. The coronavirus pandemic stretched everything in time, testing our patience and organizational reflexes, and producing our own clothing line turned out to be an extreme sport. This was the first shoot, the first recorded image of our work.

No risk, no story. |.Kampanie | momonde.

It all started much earlier – in early 2019, to be exact. With a notebook, a moodboard, and the belief that it could work. From the first outlines of the collection, through conversations with pattern makers and sewing rooms, to fabric selections, initial prototypes, and fittings – we slowly assembled the picture of a brand that didn’t want to be just “another one.” It was meant to have soul. It was meant to have a voice. It was meant to be oversized.

The sweatshirts and tunics that appeared in those first photos remain the backbone of all our collections to this day. With a few subtle tweaks, but without losing their character. It was our manifesto: freedom, ease, the city. The moodboard pulsed with an urban rhythm, and downtown Warsaw turned out to be the perfect backdrop. A little raw, a little brutalist, but deeply authentic.

Behind the lens stood Paweł Trojanowski, a photographer who captures atmosphere as if he’s holding his breath. In front of it – Nadia Wójcik, who had exactly what we were looking for: an unexpected softness and a gaze that said, “I know more.” The video was directed by Paweł Fabianek from Styl Productions. Thanks to their approach, this shoot became not just a documentation of our first collection, but a reward in itself – a moment of joy we deeply needed after months of stress, uncertainty, and fighting for every last detail.

Looking back, that first photoshoot wasn’t just a project. It was a declaration. That we’re doing things our way, in our own time, with our own vibe. No pressure. But with purpose. And with clothes that, despite everything, made it through the pandemic without losing an ounce of their spirit.

That was only the beginning. But what a beautiful beginning.
