The Grey shade has a raw, honest character. This ash-grey melange was made without any textile dye. It is simply the natural colour of the alpaca fleece. Because each fibre has its own tone, individual sweaters may differ very slightly from one another, so no two are quite alike. A soft, fluffy halo finishes the yarn, adding lightness and giving the knit a three-dimensional look.

Fabric

Fine alpaca is knitting at its most refined. It has nothing in common with heavy, scratchy wool. The fleece is carefully sorted, and only the finest micro-fibres are selected. The result is a featherlight fabric that is twice as warm as sheep's wool, because the core of each alpaca fibre is naturally hollow and works like a tiny thermos. With no lanolin and a perfectly smooth surface, Lana doesn't itch, even worn directly against the skin. The polyamide woven into the structure is our safeguard: it helps the sweater spring back to its original shape after every wash and through years of wear.
